A Bush Angels team met this woman at a clinic on the remote Duke of York island of Mioko. She was 2 weeks overdue and risked life-threatening complications with the birth of her baby. Five women die every day during childbirth in PNG. After stabilising her the Bush Angels organised a medivac by boat to the nearest hospital.

DIAGNOSING TYPE 2 DIABETES FOR AUGUST

Bush Angels paramedics tested August for diabetes. She is among the 20% or 1.34 million people who suffer Type 2 Diabetes in Papua New Guinea.
